L460 AB for sale

Didn't take long, wonder if they signed the letter?

Be interesting to see what it fetches.

My favourite colour combo. May have to sell the kids and buy it!

Aside from the slight surprise of seeing a soon-to-be second hand model, these are amongst the best photos I’ve seen yet - especially the interior. 2016 SDV8 AB

I agree - It's nice to see a colour in natural light

No it’s Epsom green AJ. It changed to Tonga in 2005/6 I think.

Thanks Dolphinboy. I asked because I thought this new colour Belgravia Green looked quite close to Tonga, as did the photo of your car on your profile. Always loved Epsom Green Thumbs Up Thumbs Up - I can't understand why JLR don't bring it back.

It seems to me, that all of the new colours selected by JLR only make it to the configurator, if they think they will co-ordinate well with a black pack, as well as on their own - Which of course is not the case with some of the old classics, sadly.

I might be wrong Stan, but I wouldn't be surprised if JLR contact Collecting Cars and it gets pulled before completion of auction (or even start for that matter).

If not, I'd estimate £20k over list, but will be interesting to see if it runs it's course.

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Loire Blue

At least we get to see some “real” pictures and doesn’t it look good.
It’s all a bit of a farce really, Someone can flip a new RR when others can’t even get their dealer to call or e mail them back 😂😂 how things can change from having several dealers actively looking for your business. To be fair if this was a PHEV I would be bidding on it. It’s all a bit stainless Rolex for me and I’m not sure I want to play silly games over just a car.
We had an ex demo Porsche Taycan Cross tourismo as I don’t do waiting 18 months waiting for a car 😂😂 and that didn’t end well.
I was going for a PHEV X5 for ‘er indoors to drive around in for a few month’s until her RR turned up, but @ £90k lightly used decided that I was going to lose somewhere as I have got out of 3 cars in the last 2 years in positive equity - which just never happens ! It’s all got to stop eventually.

Instead I got her a 2011 Nissan Navara (full on pikey truck with 2 million miles on and it’s even got the lamping light on the front 😂😂😂😂) she dropped me off in it on Friday night and she’s over the moon with it - no more dickheads hassling her in her Porsche/RR X5’s etc she can chuck all her horse stuff in it, wet dogs and we don’t care 😂😂 it’s all quite liberating not worrying over 22” wheels, where you leave it and how you treat a vehicle !!!

Good luck to the seller 👍👍

But, we already discussed keeping her new wagon and having another decent holiday a year instead of paying for another nice car…….

Which will of course all change the first time I see the new RR on the road 😂😂😂

Definitely shades of the grey market that’s going on in Rolex land these days, and AP and Patek. Rolex make potential buyers jump through hoops to even “express an interest “ and yet there’s a never ending supply of stock heading that way, at way over RRP, so something’s going on to feed this supply.
So, the question is 2fold.

1. Have JLR endorsed this in some way to test the market, or

2. Is some lucky buyer doing a deal with the auction house to split the profit?

If it’s like Rolex situation, I doubt option (1) is likely and if it’s option (2), the buyer will almost certainly be blacklisted but will they care? I think not.

I should add that the “contracts” that people were asked to sign, weren’t worth the paper they were printed on, so that’s not a deterrent. . Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Agreed!

I realise I’m probably going to have to stretch mine out two years. By then I will be up for the electric version. Mercedes have just tested their saloon with a range of 900 miles .

It wouldn’t take much to switch out of RR, nothing to do with the car, just the dealers. I rang one two weeks ago in a nearby next town, wouldn’t talk to me as not in his area. Reserving for very local customers! None of this is good. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

JLR cannot enforce those clauses. Anyhow, the contract of sale is between the retailer and the customer. They are more there to scaremonger than anything that can actually be relied upon.
