No it’s Epsom green AJ. It changed to Tonga in 2005/6 I think. |

Thanks Dolphinboy. I asked because I thought this new colour Belgravia Green looked quite close to Tonga, as did the photo of your car on your profile. Always loved Epsom Green - I can't understand why JLR don't bring it back. It seems to me, that all of the new colours selected by JLR only make it to the configurator, if they think they will co-ordinate well with a black pack, as well as on their own - Which of course is not the case with some of the old classics, sadly. |

I might be wrong Stan, but I wouldn't be surprised if JLR contact Collecting Cars and it gets pulled before completion of auction (or even start for that matter). If not, I'd estimate £20k over list, but will be interesting to see if it runs it's course. |

with all the effort put into to this ad by this company i suspect they will let it ride to its conclusion, but who knows the power of the JLR men in black.. ... - .- -.

Definitely shades of the grey market that’s going on in Rolex land these days, and AP and Patek. Rolex make potential buyers jump through hoops to even “express an interest “ and yet there’s a never ending supply of stock heading that way, at way over RRP, so something’s going on to feed this supply.

Agreed! I realise I’m probably going to have to stretch mine out two years. By then I will be up for the electric version. Mercedes have just tested their saloon with a range of 900 miles . It wouldn’t take much to switch out of RR, nothing to do with the car, just the dealers. I rang one two weeks ago in a nearby next town, wouldn’t talk to me as not in his area. Reserving for very local customers! None of this is good. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

JLR cannot enforce those clauses. Anyhow, the contract of sale is between the retailer and the customer. They are more there to scaremonger than anything that can actually be relied upon. |
