United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black
Second set of wheels for off road/winter

Hi

I recently bought a L405 SDV8 autobiography that came with the 22” turbines. Honestly i was worried about the ride but compare to my previous x5 on 20” alloys and m sport suspension, it feels so much better in the L405!

I’ve been thinking about taking it to a few local greenlanes but would like to swap the alloys for a set of 20” ones. Does anyone know which ones will definitely fit and what width/offsett i should get or not go past? Any recommended retailers for cheap ish alloys? And i assume 20” is the smallest that will fit?

Also i read somewhere that need to be careful with tyre diameter as the car might have issues with the transfer case/diff when it goes out of spec?

My RR came new on 22” Turbines, I bought a 2nd set of new take off 20” standard RR wheels and fitted Cooper AT3 All terrain tyres in 285/50/20 - these are my winter / off road set for the shooting season. Not got stuck yet ! 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Like Vogue I have 20" RR genuine wheels (style 502) bought as takeoffs from site sponsors Duckworths. These are fitted with Goodyear Duratrac 255/55R20 tyres, the LR homologated "professional off road" tyres. They are the right size, so no rubbing issues, but only 99mph speed rating and handling, braking and noise all inferior to the Pirelli Sc Verde that are on the summer wheels. One does have to moderate driving style, but off road and in wintry conditions I have been pleased with them. Only Range Rovers since 1988
