hello guys
recently brought an 03 4.4 for parts,

the battery drained and when i put the new battery in its coming up with code with 4 lines next to it on the dash,
i can't do anything through the radio as its an after market unit.

has anyone seen this and know how i can get a code or put it in,

land rover say it might have forgot what it is and needs plugging in,
thanks lads any help would be good as it won't start

That sounds like the BMW feature where you can put a 4 digit immobiliser code in, and it will be immobilised when it’s next started up until the same code is put in. The code can be anything… what the user set when it was activated.

I’m sure there was a similar thread on here a few years ago… I remember trying to help. I’ll see if I can find it.

I take it that it won’t start now then? Assuming the parts were there for it to start before….

you are a absolute star mate , i had a good look at the stuff you got for me and thought i would try turning the ignition on and waiting 10 minutes, went out after 10 minutes and hey presto it started first time
