Gremlin, if your front calipers look like the below, that’s a TRW caliper:
Also, to be on the safe side, you could measure the diameter of your front brake discs to confirm if they’re 360 or 380mm diameter (there are two different sizes that can be bought).
If you get stuck, if you ring a LR parts dept, or Bearmach or Rimmer Bros and give them your registration/ chassis number they can help you ID/ pick the right sizes, they’ve always been helpful for me.
I’m not clear if the brake calipers/ set up changed for your year (2017) hence the cautionary reply as ours is 2014MY. Someone else more knowledgeable might also come along soon…
Changing the front discs and pads on ours and all the associated efforts to clean everything up was a filthy job. That’s what took me the time. Maybe I went OTT though but that was my least enjoyable part. Brake cleaner, a large kitchen roll/ similar, double gloved rubber gloves and a large thick piece of cardboard/ similar under the brake being worked on is all advisable to help manage the cleaning and mess.
The TDv6 with TRW front calipers is a more than capable combination, for our needs at least. The car has never put a boot wrong. We always just buy quality replacement discs and pads - EBC are definitely quality in my experience.
