Well I too recently had the dreaded restricted performance warning message on my MY17 4.4 TDV8 but this only happened when I gave it some welley. It would usually clear once the engine was switched off for a few minutes although this may be coincidence.

Mine started doing this after a service (was OK before) no faults showing on IDTool but “clear all faults” seems to work. So does stopping for a bit of lunch. Any ideas? Geoff |

My MY16 was like this and I would clear the faults as I was driving use the iid app. It turned out to be a software issue and an update sorted it. No problem since 2019 Autobiography SDV8 Byron blue/black - current

The connector for the pressure sensor fails for which a repair kit is available comprising of a new connector and short length of wires. |
