DIY Q - can you get an SDS Extension ?

Hi team

I need to extend an SDS Plus drill bit (core drill)

Thought it would be simple to get an extension, SDS Male one end, some sort of SDS female other end....

But I'm not seeing anything readily available.... ?

Am I missing something ?

Cheers Cheers, Greg

Any good? It's a decent brand and not something made out of Chinese Plasticine!

Does the sds fit the core bit with a thread? You are able to get extension sections for core drills, threaded male/female either end.
Never bought an individual one, mine are in the set I have.

A lot of it depends on whether the core drill is a TCT one - using hammer action or a diamond one using just rotational motion.

You can get sds extensions that will not transmit hammer action along them so beware. Christian.
