EGR valve oil leak 4.4 TDV8

Hello,
New to the forum, please excuse any mistakes.
I would like to know if there is a gasket or seal between the EGR valve where it connects to the air plenum. I have a slight but constant oil leak .
Thank you in advance

There isn't a gasket where the EGR tube attaches to the air intake - it's just a snug fit.

The oil cooler can leak from the the gasket between its 2 halves or from the gasket between the oil cooler and the EGR cooler.

Thank you GraemeS,
Good to know! it just leaks enough to deposit a thin coat of oil on the EGR valve support.

I strongly advice to have it fixed asap. In my case all the gaskets were parished causing enough oil to drip onto the EGR resulting in the valve sticking and was beyond repair

According to my indy its a real PITA job to replace the EGR as its right at the bottom of the engine and also quite expensive.
