Yes, they reportedly only just got the inventory of parts together for the initial cohort of dealer cars.

Porsche have suspended production again this month on account of wiring looms. I suspect JLR will be the same. Having said that, no cars to Russia from here on in.

I struggle to figure this out too. I'm guessing that journalists have already driven the cars, but there is an embargo on saying anything until later this month.

Similar happened with Mrs RDRs current car she took delivery the week press reviews started being published. I think with everything that's going on the normal routine for a Car release will not happen. You only have to read the very long delivery threads on the Defender forum to see its almost impossible to decipher any kind of pattern. There is a lot of frustration with customers who ordered top end defenders still waiting having pre ordered over a year ago and seeing others order and take delivery in months for a lesser spec. MY23 PHEV HSE

If you order today , do you get todays price, or the price on day of delivery ? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

In theory you get the deal you sign upto at order however watching other members with land rovers on order if the spec changes significantly they have had to have a "discussion" with their dealer as it can involve a reorder. Plus the specs have from what I have seen changed for the worse with people losing items like Digital dash, soft close door, HUD etc

I expect the APR will change (for the worse) over the next year too so if you can lock in your finance deal its probably for the best.

Trade in is also another variable, my deal just gave me a finger in the air prediction so that's an unknown variable given how the market is. MY23 PHEV HSE

Apparently the L460s in the car park at the factory (as shown in the video on page 6 of this thread) have been built with missing parts and are waiting to be completed before they can be shipped. I am not expecting mine before 4Q now, at best, even though I ordered in September.

I’ve seen I few transporters with l460s on around the m1,m18 heading north they were right hand drive. Saw one this morning and one on the lower deck looked like it was on space savers all round. Maybe the alloys are going to catch-up with it at a later date  MY23 PHEV HSE
