In-tank pump? Part No WFX000160. The fuel injection warning on the dash is triggered by the pressure sensor on top of the fuel filter 2007 TDV8 VSE

Clear pipe after fuel filter shows more air than fuel being moved to the injectors. Cycled the ignition 10 times with no improvement. Won’t start not sure where the next place to look will be? |

You have 3 fuel pumps, one in the tank I mentioned before, one by the nsr wheel and the high-pressure pump on the front of the engine. If the in-tank pump is not pumping, in a lot of cases no fuel will get to the secondary pump. A full tank of fuel can mask the problem but a low tank full will stop the flow. 2007 TDV8 VSE

I had a similar problem with mine and it was the easy to get to fuel pump in front of the rear wheel . Took about 10 minutes to replace and never had the issue since. |

Should have said in my last post that the in tank pump has now also been changed. However after doing some testing last night I pulled off the hose on the outlet of the i tank pump, the one that feeds the secondary pump and cycled the ignition. No fuel coming out. So secondary pump isn’t being fed.

My understanding is it syphons from the left side to the right. It is a bit of a pain to replace the unit however I have done it, taking it apart and just replacing the electric pump in the whole unit so it can't be that hard. Both of the tank covers need to come off and arms in. There is a video on youtube for a petrol car I followed. 2007 TDV8 VSE

Yes managed to do this hardest part was trying fit the left hand pipes into the grooves of the tank. Also the stupid pinch clips on top of the actual tank itself. Fingers crossed this was the problem and I don’t now found issues with the high pressure side.
