Hi All,

Need to tart up the Mrs's BMW in order to sell it. She has a Black 330D M Sport and it needs a few cosmetics done prior to sale, namely:

1. All 4 alloys need a proper refurb (Found a local chap who does full dip'nstrip for £60 a wheel) Booked in.
2. Front Bumper skin needs replacing due to a scrape on one side and a kerb tear underneath
3. Windscreen needs replacing due to about 7 star chips - no problem with Insurance company

I can't find anywhere that sells the M Sport bumper, the online parts places only seem to sell the standard 3 series bumper, so I guess I need to trawl the forums for hints and tips and places to go. I've been told by one guy that I can only buy the genuine M Sport bumper from a BMW dealer at over £600.

Anyone know anyone/ any forums etc?

Also, if anyone knows of someone who wants to buy a BMW 330D that will be in IMMACULATE condition (you know what I'm like with my cars )

I shall do a proper for Sale ad when its ready but in the meanwhile....

Is it an E46 or E90?

Either way, there seems to be plenty of M sport bumpers listed on ebay for around £150. 2006 Mercedes CLS

i think in that case it should be a very easy repair for a body shop and no more than £250 to sort....£150 would be about the right price to pay to get it done "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

TBH the tear underneath is out of sight so the scrape is the bit that needs a repair, I think you are all right, could be repaired rather than replaced, I often get carried away with belt and braces approach. I like to do things right and only do it once. Discovery 4 HSE
