Head unit screen repair

Dreaded pixels on the head unit screen are appearing, wondering if anyone has had these units repaired.
On the normal home screen you don't notice it but when the camera screen in on....
I don't want to upgrade the stereo/head unit as my 3 cameras work fine with this, one been the back up cam and other 2 on the horse box.

 If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Haven't done it myself but these screens are replaceable and available to buy on eBay. There are also tutorials on the BMW sites (they share components as LR was BMW owned in them days). I have no affiliation with the link I have posted below and include it for your reference only.
