Is the Adaptative Dynamics the Active anti-roll system?

Hi,

I've tested a 2017 L405 SDV6 Hybrid Autobiography, that comes with the Adaptive Dynamics System, per the build sheet.

However the body rolls too much on corners, and doesn't seem to make the proper compensations that one would expect from a active anti-roll system.

Can anyone enlighten me if the "Adaptive Dynamics System" is the "Active Anti-roll System" that's available on the 8 cylinders L405, or if is something else?

What's the official name, or factory reference, for this anti-roll system?

Thanks

Hi,

Adaptive Dynamics is the electronic control of the dampers giving variable damping, all L405's have these.

Dynamic Response is the hydraulic anti roll system, SDV8 and 5.0SC and maybe some others.

Unless you have Dynamic Response then you have standard traditional solid anti roll bars.

Ian.

I drove an SDV6 and SDV8 back to back and really didn't like the roll on the V6, it was enough to be a deal breaker.

I regularly driver mine in dynamic, as the ride is still good (22s) and to me it feels more comfortable on some roads as there's less movement. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Hi,
Thanks for the answers.
It was that Dynamic Response system that I was looking for.
It makes a big difference on the way the car handles, and I don't understand why this system wasn't available for the FFRR SDV6, but was available for on the RRSS of the same era.
