Did 20k miles on Vredestein Wintrac Pro's

I've got two sets of wheels for winter and summer, but the summer wheels came with the car and are 275's which give an horrible ride. So instead I just use the winters all year round. The grip isn't quite as good as a proper summer tyre, but obviously in winter they are much better.

This is them after nearly 20,000 miles. Can't complain really. Means I don't have to bother changing wheels twice a year.

The Wintrac Pro has been replaced by the Wintrac Pro XL now. Will have to see how these do.

Wish the right rear lamp would last as long. The Mrs has broken two when reversing.

She also broke the rear reflector on another occasion.

Yes, it has a reversing camera.

i've been tempted to fit winter or at3 tyres for the 'all year round' experience but we dont get snow here that often so kinda defeats the idea..

i also find normal tyres and the FF's four wheel drive do a good job in the limited bad weather we get.. ... - .- -.

I know what you mean Stan. The equation is a bit different here in Switzerland as there's a lot more snow and also the legal aspect of being on the wrong tyres can get you in a lot of trouble!
