Getting back on the topic....

So going to have a go at the 2018+ conversion myself, having done a few of the 2003 to 2010's on the L322's and many plug and play wiring kits for people in the past, making the short looms and wiring up the connectors etc, i do enjoy it.

OK, so really there still is not much info at all on this?, no one has had a go or tried to work out a short wiring adapter harness like we did for the L322?, I don't trust the headlights offered on Aliexpress as too much of a risk and ball ache if things go wrong all round, and as far as i can see the only option is the £900 kit from Italy?.

There was a week ago a new "kit" offered on eBay stating it worked for the L405 @£399.

I did keep an eye on this for a while as i was very skeptical about the ad, some things did not add up & thought best to wait and see if anyone did place an order and to see some feedback, glad i did as thought they did not work!, as some poor Censored found out....reading the feedback the "kits" were only tested on the L494, not the L405....

So, maybe its a case of getting the plugs and just trying to see what happens?, but sure someone has had a go, no one has?.

Would like to hear if anyone has and results. If not i guess its down to buy the lights & plugs and start having a go myself then. But i just wanted to ask here as there is not much info about for the conversion headlight wiring. Some video's about show the headlight being plugged straight into the loom, but thats the Chinese lights that have been re-wired to work, so it can be done with out the £900 Italy special.

Anyone.... 2014 L405 3.0 V6 Autobiography Santorini Black 49k

Oh Stan, I do know this!. Laughing But appreciated.

As said, I have completed a few L322 conversions in the past and also wired my own plugs, so I am more than aware of the process for the conversions for the L405, also plenty of info and video's for research, as I must be one of the few left who actually take the time to do as much reading on the forums and research as possible before asking a question.

I am just asking for some help / info on the wiring side of the new lights, maybe someone has managed to do it and this has to be the best place to ask. 2014 L405 3.0 V6 Autobiography Santorini Black 49k

Still no one...?.
Does anyone have the wiring diagram from the 2018+ loom or the 2018+ headlight pin out diagram please so i know what colour and pin does what.
If they are offering a conversion service for your stock 2018+ headlights to be re-wired and to have a 2013 - 2017 style plug fitted it has to be a way...
A little help here!. 2014 L405 3.0 V6 Autobiography Santorini Black 49k
