3.6 2010 facelift 6 speed revs to 3,000 rpm when starting of

Before I try to explain, the gear changes on my box are smooth with NO jerkiness.
But when I pull off into a roundabout and go around to the roundabout the the revs nearly always go to 3,000 rpm before changing up. The change when it does happen is smooth.
I can 'encourage' it to change up at more normal revs, say 2,000 rpm if I feather the throttle just slightly. From then on the changes are perfectly normal and at sensible revs.
So it appears to be the initial change up, maybe first to second or second to third.
I am NOT hammering it just accelerating smoothly around a roundabout.
It does the same at normal junctions, but it is easier to control and 'persuade' the box to change up!
Some facts about the car, relatively low mileage for a 2010 - 106,500 miles, the gearbox was megaflushed at 105,500 miles, but the garage that did it, Land Rover specialist and mates with Ian Bodsy, said he doesn't reset the box as a matter of course.
After about 500 miles and this trait occuring, I decided to plug my IIDTool in and did a gearbox reset. No difference. So did it do the reset or is there something amiss with the box?
It doesn't feel like 'slip' just that change point is set at too higher revs!
As I said in all other aspects it is smooth and a very nice drive.

One point that occured to me, I have had the engine remapped, and the EGR valves mapped out, but they haven't been blanked off.
Can an engine remap affect the gearbox?
The remap has had a remarkably good effect on both the fuel consumption
and the general 'drivability' of the car.

Any observations welcome.

Stay safe
Ian
