Memory selection depending on key

Hi all.

Is is possible to automatically adjust the seat, mirrors, wheel etc depending on what key was used?

For example, unlocking the car with key 1 will adjust to memory 1,key 2 will do memory 2..but automatically before you get in the car? 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'

I thought it did that anyway… at least the earlier ones did.

Not sure if you can turn it off/on….

Can't see any options or info.

Just want to be able to get in without knee capping myself after my wife's been driving. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'

I’m surprised it doesn’t do that, I’m in the same boat and would like to have the memory linked to the keys. Current: Range Rover L322 4.4tdv8, Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2, BMW 535d Touring, Skoda Fabia, BMW S1000XR

Yeah the preset thing is weird given there aren't any on this - seems you get what you're given or what it can find. Same with the TV.

Also find that it will sometimes decide not to have forward alert switched on. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'

My Forward Alert sometimes turns off occasionally. Not that often, but sometimes. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I could’ve sworn that this option, Lazy Entry, could be coded on our L322s.

I’ll have to check my IIDTool and give it a go.

I’d be surprised if it didn’t. My ‘96 XJ did it from the factory.

They have the option to move the seat and wheel out the way as you get in and out, but it won’t change position to different positions dictated by the key, as far as I can see anyway.

Do you mean radio station presets? If so, there are. You tune it to the station you want and then press and hold one of the 9 squares with stations on it and it’ll store it. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

When I use my spare key, I lose all my pretuned radio stations. If I then use my main key, they’re back, so that’s a definite function of the key. I can’t say the seat or steering wheel move to different settings though. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

My old (08MY) 3.6 TDV8 moved the seat/wheel/mirrors according to the key used.

Oddly, my 2012 Westminster doesn't. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile
