As far as I’m aware there was never an “official issue” so no fix in place on the later cars. That said its a lottery as some go on to live long lives while others fail early.

If you want a 2018 one, your budget will have to be significantly higher than a 3.0 diesel in a 2013 to 2017 MY and the newer you get the higher the price...
