New Suspension options on the configurator

I was taking another look at my spec and saw there are 2 new options on the configurator - some different air suspension and a torque vectoring thing - my description perhaps illustrates I have no clue what these are and so no idea if they are valuable - anyone know what they add ?

The "Electronic Air Suspension with Dynamic Response Pro" and "Electronic Active Differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking" are the new features that LR have developed for the L460 - an 48-volt electronic active roll control system that is more efficient than hydraulic systems, with torque capacity of 1400Nm - improved anti-roll system. Described in more detail here: https://media.landrover.com/introducing-ne...e-and-road

The P510e, D350 and P530 and AB, First Ed and SV has this as standard equipment Very Happy

My D300 ordered in October has these as standard. JLR removed them from some models for MY23 and made them optional, rather sneakily introducing a £3900 price increase.

I spoke to a JLR engineer at a launch event in January just after the PHEV prices were published. I said I was surprised that the price differential for a PHEV was lower than I had expected. He said that making the active anti-roll an option on the PHEV models had reduced the price differential.

I suspect the reason for making it an option was to get the best EV range possible. The 48V anti-roll has got to be a drain on the battery. It would be interesting to know what the EV range will be on a PHEV with the active anti-roll option.
