United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Farallon Black
Linking micro sim with vehicle

When I bought my 2018my Range Rover it didn’t have a sim presumably retained by the previous owner. Land Rover Peterborough supplied one . At this time the car was under three years old. On its third birthday I bought LR warranty to include pro services. There was a faulty module in the rear wheel well which was replaced last weekend.
I have contacted Ubigi who informed me there was no account associated with this vehicle.
My vehicle sim card at present has no data on it so I cannot access the Ubigi.me site to link up the card to the vehicle and despite me having supplied the card and vin numbers I have got no where.
Can anybody assist?

Go into a dealer and ask for a Ubigi sim and they should oblige.
And then insert and you should be up and running

"Internet with Legs" from 3 is the best Sim. 24GB for 24 months. Get it on Amazon (Various options)

Ubigi is restricted to 500mb per month when you get it through a dealer. If you need to top up it's expensive. All LR cars from 1984

Morning. I bought the 24gb internet with legs SIM card but it says sim not supported. The ubigi one works fine so it’s not the slot. Any ideas thanks. Dale

Don’t understand that Whistle

I can’t remember how I did it, but maybe you need to register the card first with 3?

Also is the card in the right way…. Don’t mean to be rude!!! All LR cars from 1984

The sim wasn’t activated so I did it via web chat with 3. I couldn’t put it in a phone as I only have nano sim and it’s micro sim The lad at 3 sorted it and all up and running. Thanks for the advice chalky it’s appreciated

Hello Gents

Stupid question time.... why would you want a sim in your car? Does it do something that pairing your phone does not do or is it simply something to do with data allowances etc on your handset?

Main reason for having one in mine is the live traffic and the fuel prices when you search for somewhere to fill up is useful as well. I don’t use it as a hotspot or any of the apps. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid
