Found an Overfinch 580S. Suggestions

So while browsing, I found an Overfinch 580S for sale! It is the official Overfinch 580S press car featured on Top Gear. The one that Clarkson raced against a mercedes. It has the 5.0 Liter 385 bhp engine! I absolutely loved one from the first time I saw it! The question is, since the car is RHD, and I live in places when cars are usually LHD. It has 70000 miles, full service history and all. Should I buy it? (I also have been offered conversion from RHD to LHD for 4500 £) Suggestions please! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

It is based in an HSE or SE, 2002.

Too much money in my opinion. £10-12k is the price to pay......

And it'll be based on a Vogue I would have thought.

It'll be this one then?

It's based on an HSE!!! WTF!?

Leather dash front - but being an HSE it has a plastic dash top. The doors look cheap ford being all plastic. Then they've two toned the cheap seats Censored

I like the car,but it is a bit sad that it is only SE or HSE...

for such a special car,it should have touchscreen navi and leather dash..

For that thing - I wouldn't even pay 10K It's frustrating they didn't start with the top spec car and then make it better. WHY.

However, if it was everything I wanted it to be then 20K wouldn't be a bad price for an overfinch - I was actually surprised to see it was a few K cheaper than my estimate. But it's 10K more than the HSE is worth.

Is it definitely 100% genuine?

Yup, that's it on Pistonheads! I know it is an HSE and the seats are not as good as the Vogues, and has no dash, but I'm more interested in the engine than the luxuries inside! At 385 bhp it has the same performance as the SC plus it is naturallt aspirated (it is also rare)

I used to se a 05 model based on a Vogue at saxtons but i got sold! it was 25000£ with 35000 miles! I want a car before july so I'm looking 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

wow.....im still sticking to my guns in saying its worth more than £12000 the hse seats are not the end of the world niether is the plastic top for the dash seeing as i can get a leather one for £50 im shocked it doesnt have the sat nav ....it does have heated rear seats so thats a plus and the arm rests on the door cards are the leather ones as you can see the stiching......... A HSE on that year with that mileage and the extras is still worth between £9,500 - £12,000 depending on condition so its got to be worth close to what they are asking id be cheeky and offer £16,000 they can only say no....ive got to say id have that over any vogue on that year

Edit......i just did a check on that reg and it comes back as a HSE 4.4 v8 281bhp "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

if it was a regular HSE it would be about £10-12K ...so the different seats and engine are worth £6K used ?!

for nearly £19K you are not far off a facelift supercharged car anyway...id save a bit more, I think the Overfinch models have niche appeal come resale cheers

There are quite a few 20K supercharged Range Rovers available. I have driven a number recently.

In the original post there is a suggestion to convert to LHD. It would need to be really special to add that cost to the bill!

If i recall the 580s is still a BMW engine that has been fettled with.
