Dodgy sunblind

Anyone know whats going on with this blind in the pano roof. When it passes its first stage of opening, instead of the blind material staying horizontal, it drops down and remains in this position all the way back, resting near the headrests on the back seat.
Upon closure, it stays like this until the last stage where it takes up the slack and returns to normal. Quick fix is to leave it closes all the time, but would like to put it right. Any ideas?

Do you think? It starts to sag as soon as it starts to open, then the further it goes back the more it drops.
Should there be runners on each side of the blind that keep it tort as is moves back? 2021 Defender 110 D300

Further looking at your pic... I'm guessing the roller must be sprung loaded and yours has jumped the spring? i would think the front bar is motorized which allows the rear to roll in and out against a spring??? Thumbs Up

Had a bit more of a look today and can see something is different on one side to the other. Took a couple of pics when the sun blind is fully open and the mechanism on one side seems to be sitting higher in the top rail. This also seems to be the side that doesn't sit right when it's closed.
A bit of a small place to get into with your fingers but pretty certain this is where the problem lies?

First pic is the good side IMO

The second pic where you can see what looks like a wiper blade over the blind is also present on the other side but tucked right down out of sight. 2021 Defender 110 D300

Following my above post I decided to tackle this today. A pause for thought...........what if my assumption is wrong and its the other side thats seated incorrectly.

If anyone has a roof blind and are feeling generous, could they have a look at theirs and see how each side sits, preferably with a couple of pics?
Failing that I'll need to befriend a local owner of a similar car and ask if I can have a look at theirs. Laughing

Thanks for these pics, looks like its the left side thats the problem then.

Just got to work out how to get and move it back in place without doing any further damage.

I know this is my problem but I may be getting somewhere. In the pics I posted of left and right side, the left pic shows a bar sticking up that looks a bit like a wiper blade.
A bit more digging and I think this bar should be attached to the sun blind. Probably along the first seam of the blind.

Saw this second hand one on Ebay and the picture suggests it could be. Thinking it now its become detached and ended up wedged at the back of the mechanism??
New car to us but could the previous owner not have used the blind for a long time and then a few recent button presses has upset it?

Pic attached for item on ebay. Would anyone be able to give theres a prod and see if theres a rigid bar in a similar place. Think this would keep the blind tort and stop it from sagging?
