I all ,working on my mates l322 2006 td6 and replaced discs pads and sensors. Unfortunately on completion of work pad wear text and red warning keeps showing in an attempt to faul find I have disconnected both sensors and looped over turned on reset fuse and ecu using iid tool and then after about 30 seconds it comes back. I'm guessing the fault lies in loom anyone else had this or are there any hot spot faults ie known loom frett areas.

Was the warning on before the work you carried out ?

Yes it was

Have used paperclip to link rear and front sensors removed fuse for dash and placed back in. Fault is cleared but then comes back after about 30 secs. I guess S the ecu runs its checks. Think there must be a loom issue what do you reckon.

In the end i found the sensor wire had a break in it , new lead fixed the issue
