I have a 2013 SDV8 L405 which i have had for about 7 months - I have been slowly working my way through a list of fixes / improvements and I'm nearly there.
Last on the list is an annoying creak when sitting in the drivers seat which happens when i turn so my weight is shifting.

Has anyone had a similar problem or can suggest a good place to start to id the problem and fix? All ideas much appreciated.

Can’t guarantee that it will fix your fault, but try the plastic trim which houses the seat controls - just to make sure it fits tightly. 2016 SDV8 AB

On my L322, the creak from my seat was from the belt buckle rubbing against the seat bolster.

Try holding the buckle away from the seat and shift your weight and see if it stops the creak. If it does, the some fabric tape will solve that!

It took me ages to find the cause of my creaks as it sounded like it was the center console, or inside the seat housing… Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

I had creaking front seats when I bought my 2013 SDV8.

Getting under the seat with a little bit of WD40 where the plastic and leather parts meet solved it and has not come back since. Current:
