United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Some good news there then.

Won’t be too long without one.

Sounds cracking.

2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

If anyone here wants it, there will be a much better deal to be had if the OP buys it back direct from the ins co. Usually 20-25% of market value so that puts it probably under £10k (based on OP’s £45k valuation). If it goes to Copart it will sell for much more, nowadays everyone thinks they can get a bargain so then the bidding goes mad and the car sells for over what it’s worth.

I think (not certain) that the ins co is obliged to sell it back to the insured party if they want it? They’ll only sell to you though, they won’t sell on to a contact of the insured party, I guess that introduces too much potential hassle for them. 5.0 S/C Autobiography - now gone to pastures new....

The insurance company has put a salvage value of around £17.5k on the vehicle based on condition etc if that helps. So that’s what I expect they have agreed with Copart? 2018 SDV8 Autobiography (‘6Cool

Found a replacement car - involves a bit of a drive though and me putting my hand deeper into my pocket!

Car is a TDV8 AB on a '67 plate. Previous owner has put 22" rims on and the SVO body kit. Looks really nice in the Corris Grey with Ebony Leather. Was originally from the Newport area and now in the North of England. Hope to complete the purchase on Friday.

Will post pictures.

Kind regards

Andrew

Sounds a stunning car. Pics please Andy

I noticed that car on AutoTrader last week when having a look to see what was around.

It’s a cracking looking car, I hope you have many enjoyable miles in it Smile

Thanks - when I saw her there were about ten people looking at the time so I had to act quickly. I lost one at HR Owens a few days before which went on the market at 09:00 and was sold within hours.

In hindsight I am glad I missed it as this car is so much nicer spec wise and certainly turns heads for the right reasons! 2018 SDV8 Autobiography (‘6Cool
