Hmmm - no, it doesn't look like they do them. I have been looking at their reversing cameras and thought I'd seen media systems. I've seen so many threads and websites regarding this I'm losing it!

I would be interested to see what the kit consists of and how well it works.

I agree that the website is a little confusing. I have had a few 'chats' with the person who does it but I will need some more information before I commit.

From what I understand- you’ve got two problems- as I have the same problems too.

The RSE is an easy system to upgrade. As it has an aux input.

OK. Paul - when you say you end up losing the rear entertainment system, do you just mean the DVD aspect? My RSE DVDs don't work at them moment anyway. I can get TV on them, so I assume if I went down the Luxury Range Rover Upgrade route that would be the same as mine is now. I do use the aux in the back to run my old iPod so I get my tunes on the radio (AUX) system, so I know that bit works. I know the LRRU system will work on my car, it's just that I'm not sure what it will be able to do. I was hoping that someone night have already tried it and could offer some info. |

No one seems to know. Apparently he has loads of orders but noon has ever seen the kit as far as I can see. He has never shown a picture of the kit either.

I did read a few good threads about how people had done their own. It looked very interesting, but I want to keep mine looking as original as possible but with all the Apple CarPlay facilities.

I've watched some of the Navtools videos and whilst that does look like a great system, there seems to be a lot of cutting and splicing to do. The Luxury Range Rover Upgrades one is supposed to be plug and play. I doin't have any issues with splicing and soldering (I quite like it to be honest) but it's the running cables through the car that I worry about.

Ah, right. I've sent LRRU a message to ask if it's wired or wireless and whether you need to use your phone to operate it. 2007 4.2 Supercharged

You also have to use a hack on the screen to get to it too from what I recall - it's not as simple as pressing DVD or, like with Naviplus, pressing hangup. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'
