Took the Westie for a wee photoshoot in the hills today and suffered my first ever puncture (off road) in thirteen years of L322 ownership.
Got back onto the road and noticed that the rear was trying to overtake the front on the first corner. So, there was nothing else for it when I discovered a large hole in the side of the AT3 (cirlced below).....
In truth, it all went smoothly, the wheel was replaced within 15 mins and the car was back on the ground quickly. BUT, that LR jack isn't fit for purpose. The jack itself was ok when used properly, but the long-arm winding mechanism was like plasticine. It's now got a few extra bends and twists in it. ![]() Drove down to my local Indy and left the wheel with them to fit a new tyre which will be collected tomorrow. C'est la vie! ![]() ![]() |
