Well I moved from a classic to a p38 in 2000 then in 2012 to the l322 so maybe next year or the year after to the 405 and still have the others Especially as prices are a bit ott

Mine is on 220k miles and no faults on 11D the first guy that owned it did everything to it pulley on s/c etc etc and it has a FBH which is unusual in a petrol so we shall wait and see

I tend to start looking after 3 years but with a very specific requirement for colour, engine etc. Had the current car just over 3 years and its been faultless, so no screaming rush to change, especially at current prices. As noted they are at least 15-20% too high at the moment, so no sense changing yet.

Had my P38 for 4 years . Got what I paid for it as a Trade in on my 2005 L322 TD6

Had my 2005 L322 TD6 now for 10 years . And still have . But have moved up to a 2017 L405 SDV8
Dealer wasn't going to give me very much for my TD6 . So it's still here at the moment . SWMBO won't let me keep it though . Didn't see why I needed a new one anyway . Nothing wrong with the old one

Usually keep my cars for a long time . One for 33 years , another for 24 years

The key thing for me is the enjoyment of ownership. If you still get that kick every time you drive it, keep it and maintain it. When the enjoyment wears off or you really fancy a change, sell it. Kev
