We had a lot of fun with the F-Type, meetings & drives with other owners from Belgium,
Luxemburg and France even.

Wonder if there is such an activity for continental Range Rover owners, beyond the
meetings from the dealers.

I'm 100% from Nederland, but still living in the UK. We intend to go back but COVID measures keep thwarting us, managed to get back in October for the first time in 1.5 years But now it is hard again.

I did drive fast and loud in my modified 5.0SC. Closest we got to the highlands was Lage Vuursche...

At least one other lowlander..

Laage Vuursche.. .. my parents took me there up to 1965 in the weekends,
as we were living on Koekoeksplein above my mothers grandmother..

My dad made a great effort wrestling us from poverty, and with this step-up
in life and some luck, I made it to a really comfortable life now.

People in the Randstad thought I was mad when we moved here decades ago,
for the space and fresh air. Now they all want to go, but houses sold out here.

But you mean to come back and visit relatives ? Our eldest daughter is a lawyer,
she works in NYC. Didn't see her since januari 2020. Hope she'll manage to come
early 2022..

Very nice. No not to visit, return to live again. I’m looking in Amsterdam, got a buying agent but it’s not easy when you can’t travel.

And lol all my friends say we are crazy to move to Amsterdam, I’m from near Utrecht originally, but after you are used to London the other cities are too “small”.

I’ll probably help my eldest daughter buy a smallhold farm in the east. So I have somewhere to store my cars 🤣 and ride horses. Then we have best of both world.

Amsterdam is crazy money. Be ware they already have power outings, and they want to
'cut-of-the-gas' in an environment(-al) craze. So be ware you get a place with A+++
energy certificate, or change it into that.

They plan to outlaw wood burners and fire places in Amsterdam too. Then the increasing
crime rates and overcrowded hospitals.. .. a 'no-go-zone' for me to live.

We life in the Veluwe, and houses runs scarce here. My vet got devorced a year ago,
sold her house in a breath, to her surprise. Since then she's looking for a smaller and
cheaper place, but prices went up about 30% in a year here, so she dropped out of the
market. She now stays with a friend, still has plans to start up a practice again, but
the outlooks are pretty daunting.

Your daughter would have to move to the area beyond Zutphen to find any place
with land for a horse below 1 million euros.

I wish you luck. Amsterdam has a bit improved in the housing market since they almost

I was hoping to get hold of other P400e drivers..

Specific problems with charging / range / infotainment..

Its slightly faster.. ..just.. ..on paper..

..but look at the fuel consumption..

time to keep it on the road.

Yours uses most petrol.. ..EURO4..

I sold my Discovery 3 TdV6 as it didn't have a DPF..

Roadtax went from € 3000 --> € 3500...

I tried an F-Pace 25t.. ..too small. And a D5 SD4 HSE Luxury.. ..fine car, but a diesel .

We don't drive enough long distances..

So now a hybrid. Everything nearer then 25km I do full EV.

OK. It doesn't sound like a V8, but really. How often can your really make that
