Using iidtool to "clear adaption values" fails

Trying to clear the adaption values and get the following error message

Operation Failed E 3

Tool and Mobile device updated to latest versions

Any ideas please? Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006
Ford Focus EcoBoost 1.5 2017
MG TF 2003

‘Operation failed’ error message occurs at the end of every CCF program change on mine but it’s just a spurious message and doesn’t mean the operation has actually failed. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Just heard from Patrick at Gap

He suggests a hard reset of the vehicle, so I'll get that done in the next few days rain permitting.
