Brake fluid capacity 2006MY S/C

Hey all,

I'm going to change my front discs and pads next week. got the Genuine parts from fleabay. Even ordered pad fitting kits and replacement bolts, screws and pad wear sensor from Nick @ Yeovil (Disco 3 user'The Large One')

I also thought I'd swap the brake fluid. I've got the plant sprayer type of pressure bleeder that attaches to the master cylinder but I can't find the total fluid capacity.

I've got a litre of the ATE Super Blue that I used to use on the track BMWs- anyone think I should pick up a second litre? Or are we looking at 250-300ml that other cars are?

I've tried searching and looked in my handbook.

Thanks in advance! Thumbs Up

Hi,
Changed my brake fluid a couple of months back, 1 litre will do it with some to spare. I used Shell Dot 4 ESL as per LR spec. Hope this helps. 2003 Vogue TD6 - Adriatic Blue - 2010 Facelift & 2010 20" wheels
