Kezbo funny you should say that but no the heated steering wheel doesn't work either...no light when you push the button on like it's dead. Do you think that's something to do with it? |

Hi david I haven't checked the power as of yet as the main lights work and indicators are all OK. Just the adaptive corning bulbs don't work. Tried clearing the codes but both codes come back instantly sadly. So like you say it could be internal problem checked the fuses in the fuse box but I did read it could be a relay but not sure |

Yes, the heated steering wheel and adaptive headlights are powered from the same relay. I had exactly the same problem with mine and the relay was dead. It's located behind the glove box (need to remove it to gain access), on mine there were 2 yellow relays located there, swapping them around confirmed the relay was faulty. |

Hi kezbo I've finally got round to changing that relay it's been crazy. But I've changed it and it has now restored power to the heated steering wheel bonus but cleared the codes and only u1A39-87 has returned so I'm guessing the module or whole light has gone wrong but thanks for your help got my heated steering wheel back lol. Now jljust gotta tackle that code sorry for the long delay |

Part way there then! As you have got rid of one of the codes you may now be able to swap the afs modules on the headlights side to side and see if the error code changes. That could then indicate if it's one of the headlight modules or the module in the footwell (not sure it would be that one as think you would have an error that isn't sided). |

Right so changed the module done nothing swapped the light modules over now the left light is stuck down and the right one still has a fault but still no light on the dash the orange light in the bottom corner that remains Blake. With the iid tool it comes up with adaptive module and when I check to see if it's on it switches between on and off within in milliseconds..talk about confused |

Presume it was a known good module? Did you clear codes and try the headlights after changing the module but before swapping the headlight modules? If so what happened?
