Car in the link is tonga green which is one of the best greens they´ve ever done says me.

It was followed by aintree green which is similar but somewhere there it stopped.

The Belgravia green looks much brighter, on screen it looks a bit like the Wimbledon Green offered on the P38 if anyone remembers?

I realise this is a very nerdy discussion but devils in the details and all that... RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - 11

I would have thought Belgravia Green would be fairly close to the ebay car's green in the link above. It's hard to tell for sure on the configurator though. Portofino Blue is also a classic dark blue.

Sorry 5.0 you are probably right, i mixed up the Belgravia with the BRG RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - 11

After spending some time sitting in one, I think the driving position is too car-like - the seat base is much closer to the floor, the top of the A-pillar seems nearer to your head, and the beltline is higher. It feels quite different from an L405, and miles away from the more upright view out from an L322.

To the question of the OP, not in my opinion. I think it got it back. I'm all over the L460 whilst oddly I could never get excited about the L405. I think it looks Majestic with a capital M Smile Interior is also awesome. Yup very high on my wishlist for when we go fully electric and you can order the EV as our main family car.

To me it has refound its identity, and made a statement it is still relevant in 2022.

Interesting! We've been invited to a demo/preview at the local dealer on the 17th of December. Looking forward to sit in the L460 to get a feeling of it compared with the L322!

I hadn't seen this comment from Philip until now, thank you, that's really interesting - I'll be keen to consider these points when I go to the dealership preview next week.

Oh no, that is one of my main dislikes of the D5. Sad

Hard to argue the the P38 in Blue with no tints does look superb. Thumbs Up

I still have mine and my classic and the 322 all in dark blue with lightstone/ sand so once the 460 starts shipping will get a 405 for the collection Thumbs Up
