Itchy Feet

Although i have already put a deposit down on the 2012/2013 FF , starting to get itchy feet about getting a new car sooner , as i drive about and see all the new cars , the new car bug is getting to me .....

Don't know if i can wait another year and a half or longer ......... Banging Head Banging Head

Why don't you get a 2011 FFRR now and trade it in later, you won't loose that much in only a year

If you're wanting a new car Mick, get a new car. Simples. Got anything specific in mind?

Mick, the 2012MY XF with the 2.2 ltr TD and 8 speed autobox (same one as the tdv8 has) should see see you well depreciation wise for 18 months. Or an Evoque - might not look too nice to some but I bet for the first 18months it will hold it's value extremely well, especially with the already glowing reports all the motoring press are giving it. And in 18months I'm sure that a grateful younger member of the family might like it too............ 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Hold on for the new one MICK, we need you to tell us all the bits that drop off in the first six months. Laughing

Then others can decide if it's worth it, or best to buy second hand when all the faults have been corrected. Thumbs Up

Joking aside, the facelifted XF is coming out shortly... and vehiles built in the Jag factory (incl. FL2) are much better screwed together apparently.

If you buy the X6, you'll look like a cock. Shocked
Others are OK though, but I found the D4 interior felt cramped after the FFRR.

Oh that's easy, you can pick a decent minibus up for 10k and you'll even be able to go down the bus lanes. Whistle
