Changing diff/transfer box oil on the drive?

How bad is this job to do on your drive with just axle stands?

2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

I think I did mine by just raising the suspension and put some axle stands under just in case she did a belly flop. Leave the tailgate open.
