4.4 2011 L322 does this sound normal

Hi guys checking out this car with 140000kms for my dad , I’m not too sure how they sound, could this be a turbo issue or an air leak etc appreciate any input

Sounds like a boost leak to me, surprised it's not throwing faults at you on the dash? 2011 Vogue SE Tdv8 FFRR

Thanks Mike, I’ve since driven another 4.4 diesel which was much quieter and a little more power down low. Definitely no warnings on the dash, think it could be a intercooler or hose leak or maybe even manifold.

There’s also a dirty oilish look on the motor and shock tower, I suspect amazing leaking for sometime.

check donut hoses - usual suspect(s)

these normally cause DPF issues and restricted but I believe Australian models didn't receive the DPF so that may be why no errors. Cheers, Greg
