Thanks guys, yeah I was pleased with the economy sat at 80mph through most of France and 75mph through Spain, one thing I did note was that the laser cruise is setup to work better when driving on the right, back home if you are in the centre of the carriageway on a straight stretch of road it will pick up an HGV in the inside lane, move 6 to 8 inches further over in the lane and it ignores it... driving on the right over here it was no bother at all, I wonder if there is any adjustment...?

Weegie, we came down the "East" route from Calais, down to Lyon, then Montpellier and down the coast route to Mojacar,

We are going home a more direct route and stopping at some friends in Samouillan  Pete

I stayed a night in the Parador in Mojacar back in my P38 days. We bought a 5 day “golden age” pack for the return journey from Portugal where had spent 4 weeks in a rented villa, then returned up the coast. Next stop was near Calpe (two nights) to visit an old work pal who retired to the area. (Javea)
