England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

If more people across these forums and facepage groups remembered that the only stupid question is the one you don't ask, they would be as friendly as this one...

I do feel sorry for new guys that ask...

My Range Rover Sport has ............... Whistle

I too joined a country wide RR club/register thing (no names...!) and went to two meetings which involved sitting in the corner talking to myself...!!! Pete

What!!.... you bought a FFRR....that's brave Whistle ..... do you realise what you have let yourself in for..........then proceed to...... Welcome the latest victim with open arms and offer plenty of support and useful advice. Thumbs Up

Being a member on here is akin to being a member of a mental health support group, as we have all caught a bug that most people ( Sheep ) avoid like the plague Thumbs Up

What we need after buying one is a pub called the Range Rover Arms where advice from the regulars is freely offered, and commiserations and a little light banter. So basically this forum with beer and snacks 😂

Slow progress, anything with beer and snacks gets my vote, but as this is the FFRR world perhaps the phrase should be... 'Some moderate libations accompanied with good quality comestibles' Laughing

Reading Haylands comment on 'Sitting in the corner talking to myself' Rolling with laughter I have had the same, apart from one experience below.
Turned up at TR Drivers club meets in an old rusty TR6 and most were in TR7's and their attitude was to doff hats saying 'oh you have a real TR' Laughing

You get the same kind of people occasionally on the various series Land Rover forums, rivet counters where everything has to be original. Thankfully 99.9% are accepting as long as you are enthusiastic and take part. The only topics which seem to drive real division are anything Brexit related and the EV vs Fuel Cell where you get a few people who are very new members commenting on how old Land Rovers must be converted to electric or scrapped!!!

I have a D2 so I'm on the D2BC forum and that's a great place to be.

This is the RR equivalent. Friendly, a bit of leg pulling and newbie questions answered with help and advice instead of sarcasm and vitriol, unlike some other LR/RR forums.

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Ive answered the phone to many many customers in this way... "Hi, is that Craig? Yes. Ah Great, i own a D4, a P38, a322 or a 405" and my answer is always... "im sorry to hear that....... How can i help you?" there is always a 2 or 3 second pause, a laugh and then the ice is broken...

I love a little sarcastic humour... I must, ive specialised in RR's for 30+ yrs now Shocked Shocked Shocked
