The sad but simple reason is that the DAB is rubbish. Mine drops out as you describe and at precise locations on my commute. Same journey in a nearly new hire car and never lost signal once.

It's the same with me in rural Norfolk on a MY18, any sort of slight hollow and the signal goes right over my head lol It cuts out in all the same area's maybe there is a need to improve the coverage. But I am sure I never had such poor performance of DAB in my last car, MY17 Discovery Sport. So explain that one 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue |
