07 4.2 supercharged facelift - any real advantage?

There seems to have been an interior facelift for the 07 model, key moved, handbrake electronic etc.
15 years later is there really any advantage to the facelift or is it just different?
Spotted a couple of cars, one is the old style one new, buy on condition granted but is the FL worth hanging out for?
Thanks

There was far more than just the interior refresh in 2007 sir... The driving dynamics were also improved greatly over the 2006 model... Go and drive both like for like models and there should be quite a big difference in the newer model sir Thumbs Up

Thanks Craig, I'll bear that in mind.

When I searched for a L322 I did not want an MY07 on, this was down to price, electronic parking brake which on the Disco 3/4 had proved problematic and I also did not want Terrain Response as I thought that could be a source of unreliability (probably incorrectly as it does not get much mention on this forum)

The MY06 was a distinct improvement over the the previous models and I was blown away by the supercharged.

I drove one 07 but was not convinced that it was worth the extra £1.5k (at the time), maybe in hindsight I was wrong but I was looking for a sub £4k car and ended up spending £6k

My advice if you are in the 06 to 07 years market is to go on condition, especially on body work, loads of info on this forum re Arches, Cills and tailgates, some I looked at were real rot boxes, mine looked good but I have found some areas of bad rust.

Oh and I am not saying all other replies are wrong, just try both.

It does seem worth it. I went to see the green one on collecting cars as it was very close to me. The chap dealing with the sale, pleasant though he was, wasn't the vendor but the storage owner so didn't know that much about it. I couldn't get the rear heated seats or the dvd to work but that could have been me. It did look in very nice condition but needed a scrape on the wheel arch fixing.
Anyway it sold for comfortably more than I was willing to pay for it so a good result for them.
I didn't really find it a very good way to buy privately, which is what it is, especially with a (nearly) 10% sales charge on top (at that price).
So I'll keep an eye out.
