United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Epsom Green
[Sold] 2003 Land Rover Range Rover TD6

Before going into the vehicle description, I thought it worth mentioning that I purchased the car around 18 months ago from a Land Rover enthusiast who had owned it for 5 years. He had purchased the car from Chipperfield Land Rover who originally supplied the car.

The car has had four previous owners and is a 2003 (53) 3.0 Td6 Range Rover Vogue in Epsom Green with Aspen leather seats still wearing its dealer supplied number plates, 116,000 miles with a full service history and the following equipment:

Electric Heated 2 stage front and heated rear seats with memory front seats, remote locking with 2 keys (full closure system from key fobs) RR over mats throughout, Climate Control & Air Con (ice cold), removable towbar, electric tilt steering wheel, sunroof, sat nav, adjustable air suspension with easy exit function, multi CD, auto wipers, front heated screen and trip computer. I have also added a Bluetooth module that uses the stock head unit so that you can stream music files or play Spotify.

Chipperfield Land Rover service history at 12,293, 26,660, 37,778, 39,958, 43,649 and 45,648 miles, with specialist serving at 59,208, 68,217, 77,113, 87,279 and 94,791 miles. Since I have owned the car, the vehicle has been serviced at Elite Land Rover in Dumbarton at 110,614 miles.

The car rides on four matching and very good Pirelli Scorpion tyres. The two on the rear are around a month old, and two on the front were replaced early 2021.

The car has also had the following work done over the years:

Both front callipers were replaced and two front air suspension struts, a new battery not long after I took ownership, a final stage resistor (common fault), new rear disks and pads in 2021, new front control arms, a drop link on the front offside and a 4-wheel alignment.

These early Range Rovers are renowned for weak GM gearboxes and at 80,000 miles this one developed a fault. The gearbox was fully rebuilt in 2018 and I have the invoice confirming that the work was carried out. The gearbox and switchable Hi / Lo Gearbox all work without fault. Air Con Condenser was also replaced at 74,000 miles, as such the air con blows nice and cold.

I'm sure you can tell from the above description that this car has been well maintained and has many more years of reliable service left in it yet; however, like anything 18 years old, there are a couple of issues. Unfortunately the leather on the drivers side seat bolster (only) has crazed due to drying, the Sat Nav Disc will likely need an upgrade as its 18 years old, there's rear tv's in the back of the front headrests but I've never bothered trying to figure them out. Half of the front heated windscreen also doesn’t seem to work.

All in all, a really well presented and maintained L322 Range Rover which will do anyone proud for years to come. I've posted the car elsewhere for £4400, but would be open to an offer in the region of £4000 from a member. The car is MOT'd until November 2022.

Viewings welcome in the west end of Glasgow. Cash or transferred funds on or prior to collection, I can assist with delivery if its reasonably local.

Thanks for viewing, any questions please ask away.
