Suspension magic box controller

Couple of the guys over on RRS have found a controller unit that allows you to have some intermediate suspension height for those who want such a thing I thought some folks here might also be interested, especially those who would like to have a "low-rider" or to get and extra 5cms at offroad height. It will give normal -20mm, +30mm and +50mm and the same for offroad, not sure if /why you might want access -20mm, but low riders might find access +30mm and +50mm to their taste even if the ride might be incredibly uncomfortable!

Australia 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Hi Tim

Not sure if the LLAMS is as easy to fit to our L322 according to threads on AULRO Forum here in Australia.
Would be very nice if it was just a plug in unit

I dont think that sport and our Ranges have the same air suspension module, because the Sport is based on the disco 3.

Actually the sport and the post 05 L322 do have the same suspensions - at least the EAS ECU is the same.

I have to begin by saying that I am not (no longer) impartial here, but this (the LLAMS) seems to be an analog unit that fools the ECU into thinking that the car is actually higher or lower than it is by altering the resistance values of the height sensors (there is no detailed description on the website).

A product that does this and more in a much more sophisticated fashion was already presented here on the forum several weeks ago by Scarey: the EASControl.

Here is an updated auction link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Range-Rover...ccessories

And here a review by someone on the board (albeit not a 'regular'): http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic4346.html?highlight=easc

The EASC allows the target height values in the ECU to be reprogrammed by the user. This leaves the operation of the EAS essentially the same as ex-factory - just with modified heights. There are no additional buttons or controls to be covered in leather (as in the linked thread above) and no additional contacts/clipped wires/electronic components to go bad and leave a suspension fault.

I'll make a more detailed announcement regarding the EASC within a week or 2. Just waiting to clear some final details.
