Just a quick note to say thanks again to our very own Mikey from MMP4x4 in Dundee.

Despite having only just turned 46k miles on the clock, I decided to get the Westminster gearbox flushed (as well as changing the oil in the transfer box, diffs and engine). Great service from MMP and if anyone wants to see the difference between the new gearbox oil which is now in the transmission and the 9yo gearbox oil that was slushing about in there, here it is....

It was nice to finally meet you John, after all this time(!), and one of the only jobs of the day that actually went to plan

We'll see you again in another 7 years for its next flush

Thankfully, our flushing machine is clever enough to let us do a filter swap as part of the flush, so if anyone asks for it to be done at the 10 year interval, it isn't an issue

Aye, it's only been about a decade of cyber aquaintance without actually puting a face to the name. You must have been in primary school back then!!  The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Wow, that’s a great step forward… Up until now I’ve not heard of any flushing machine companies offering that service. That’s great news for your customers Mikey…

Still won't change the fact that it's dirty oil that causes the issues, and a flush to replace all of the oil is more beneficial just an oil and filter change

But I'm sure we will probably never agree over that

Just happy flushing companies are now offering filter changes too… 🙏👍🙏😉
