Oh yes, I always try to work out why a vehicle was traded in, and I'm chill about it as long as the dealer respects their obligations. I'm happy enough that it was charging and or starting issues. The limp home turned out to be a slightly blocked fuel injector which LR resolved.

The next problem was unexpected, as the car was ready last Friday, but no company bid to deliver it to me on the portal the dealer uses, despite the price being raised twice. So a nationwide car dealer, couldn't get a car delivered 70 miles.

Good news though the garage has found a company outside of the portal who will deliver it to me tomorrow.

So its had cleaned fuel injector, new integrated mudflaps, new starter, new battery, new oversize licence plates, new front grill, rear wing paintwork resolved, sunroof fixed by cleaning and regreasing motor and tracks and the RR has been re-valeted.

I'm also getting £400 cash back for my troubles and have got the dealer to agree that since I've not had use of the vehicle that the day I get the L322 back is day 1 with regards to the 7 day no quibble handback, 3 months warranty and consumer rights.

When I get it back I've got to get the dog guard fitted, new wheel caps and sill covers to tidy it up.

Needless to say I'll be using the car more than the previous owners, so hopefully any other issues should should show themselves within warranty and then I can get on with getting my hands dirty servicing the beast. Encourage alternative fuels, use all the petrol!
