guys,

My drivers side lumbar support doesn't work on my S/C. The compressor buzzes away, but no air seems to be getting into the airbag, I can't feel a thing.

I went to the main dealer and they said I'll need to book it in and it'll take 2-3 hours. Much as I would like my lumbar support working, I reluctant to spend £400 on it.

I'm thinking from the symptoms, the lumbar airbag is either disconnected, or has a leak, so I'm inclined to take a poke around myself and try to find out. How easy / difficult is this? Can anybody help with instructions? I don't have RAVE, don't think I can get it for my model, but I guess for the seats it would be fine.

Could anybody post the relevant pages, or other instructions since my broadband is more like narrowband, and by the time I've downloaded it, the FFRR will have been banned, and fossil fuels will have all run out! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

boz,i seem to recall a thread that said the lumber gets inflated and stays there and there's a release valve somewhere to let it down ..not your symptoms are they? ... - .- -.

I will, I'm just after some guidance as to how to strip the drivers seat down, since I haven't done it before, and don't have any workshop manuals or anything.  Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

seat is easy to get out, undo 4 bolts and unplug the cables..
