2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Front Differential grenaded?

Got warning about overheating transmission one week before this grenaded. Towed to the shop. Axle shaft has been spat out on drivers side.
Shop has said it needs new differential. And maybe axles. Quoted $2-3000 for parts and $3000 labour

Anyone seen this, dealt with it, fixed it? This is the wife’s car and is babied. 105,000 gentle miles. Help appreciated. Thanks

2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Buckingham Blue

What year is your wife's car ?
Early model L322's had a front diff problem that led to a international recall which unfortunately ended on the 1st Jan 2012 ! It may have missed the cut?

It is a 2008 sc

Driven very gently. Just town and highway.
Has anyone seen this before?
