Hi - I can't confirm the setting (as I'm not with the car) but it is accessed via the Screen display on your sat nav. (assuming you have this)

Its via the nav - I can confirm as a nice garage (sic) in Spain reset it to French after a visit (as it is a French car - what logic!). Cleared via the nav screen and now is happily "speaking" the queens english |

just a thought..the button you press [on the stalk] when you go from one reading to another, if you keep that button depressed for a few seconds ,does it go to a menu select screen on the nav, if so is there something that can be selected there... ... - .- -.
