I don’t believe there’s been any changes to the key fob. |

Does anyone who went to a preview know if the front seats are the same, in terms of structure, shape and most importantly comfort? |

Comfort and functionality seemed very similar to 18MY+ Vehicles. Headrest design was marginally different. |

That's good to know, as I found the seat base too firm on the pre 2018 MY - It was the only reason I sold my 2016 AB |

Number of orders aside, there seem to be a lot of dealer-specified cars available. |

Anyone been able to clarify the logical inconsistency in the configurator reg the spare wheel (loadspace floor will be raised with the space saver wheel option, NOT with the full size spare wheel or the tyre repair options). The L460 that was presented here locally didn't have anything under the loadspace floor - the dealer told it was due to that this pre-prod vehicle had extra batteries stored there (they said that this L460 example was a combined D350 and PHEV test vehicle - personally I find that combination a bit odd). If this space-saver-wheel==>raised-floor issue had been a typo in the configurator, shouldn't we expect that LR would have corrected this by now? If the configurator is correct, it is really strange that the full size does NOT impact the loadspace floor! |

I checked at the dealer launch and the full size definitely does not raise the floor. letters not necessarily in the right order |

But are they auto close as well ? Swmbo always complains when she has to almost get out of the car to reach and shut the door. As an aside SWMBO still doesn’t understand soft close…… Anyway all that to one side… I priced one up and it’s £127,000 LWB . I cursed and said I would never spend that amount of money, but the new machine does look pretty good. The big plus point is the ability to park the car into a narrow space using an app, making the LWB a real possibility. Now off to check if the comparison insurance companies will insure this value & of course how enthusiastic the retailer is on the day I have been ‘permitted’ to view at the end of the month. Never ever considered the hybrid, must do so. Finally getting closer & closer to 70, any insurance issues for anyone when they reach that magic age? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |
