Hi everyone,
I tried to contact them with all of the questions we would have but so far no reply (so the usual from NavTool). I got the e-mail on 29 Oct and they had a special from the 29th through the 31st to, "Get Free Built-in Apple CarPlay/Android Auto with the purchase of NavTool interface a $200 value" I don't know if I need to replace my current NavTool adapter, what the new adapter costs (if needed), if I can just add a component to get wireless on my unit, when it would ship. Basically, just like NavTool of the past, not much useful information. I tried asking via their chat function and was told to reply to the promo e-mail and I should get a reply within 24 hours. That was Monday and still no reply. Has anyone heard anything more about this? I'll update here if I get any useful information. Thanks, Larry. 2009 Range Rover L322 Autobiography Bournville/Ivory Save lives, give blood. |

I got the email at the same time and asked if it could be used to convert the existing system.

Yea, it does work well but rumors are out there that one of the not-too-distant iPhones will convert to not having any ports. So my NavTool would then be useless for my iPhone. Besides, it would be nice to not have to plug in the phone each time I drive somewhere.

Finally got a full-ish answer. Of course in their first reply they answered just my first question (very typical of them to not read the whole e-mail and give an incomplete answer). I had to reply and ask the questions again.
So now I need to decide if I want to risk about $600 from NavTool for what could be a really good wireless solution or buy NaviPlus for just a bit more (about $740 USD) plus shipping. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Larry. 2009 Range Rover L322 Autobiography Bournville/Ivory Save lives, give blood. |
