2006-2009 MOST system - Bluetooth, could this be the answer?

Evening all,

Have our prayers been answered?

After spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to get the LR iPod Connection kit installed (guess what, it was defective) and eventually going for an Aux Lead/Bluetooth adaptor bodge, I have just come across this on evilBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255023395325

Main Product page is here https://www.mr12volt.com/products/most-blu...rover-l322 if anyone wants to take a look.

I've gone ahead and bought one, and will take a few pictures of the installation, before coming back and letting you know how it all goes.

Interestingly the literature stipulates that it has to go in by the glovebox, and not in the boot. Not quite sure how it'll play with the CD Changer in circuit (I'm happy to make the CDC a victim if this really does work..) but will probably end up pairing the phone to the existing D4 Bluetooth module for voice, and to this for music.

Thought I'd share this though, as I know that the MOST system is a block to any Bluetooth install. I'll keep you posted with progress.. 2008 RR TDV8 3.6 Vogue - Java Black

Interesting find, what's your plan regarding placement of the microphone?

Not going to bother with the mic - I'll stick with the existing Bluetooth module for voice. 2008 RR TDV8 3.6 Vogue - Java Black

That looks like a great bit of kit, but I'd be worried, very worried that it's made in China and concerned that it's actually called Mr12volt.

I'm also interested in this, having just picked up a 2005 Vogue with the newer style touchscreen. It's fine, but would rather have CarPlay/Waze etc, but can't seem to find a definitive answer as to what HU's are compatible without losing some functionality. Coming to the realisation that it seems like a lot of hassle/money, this thing could be great as a solution for streaming music!

The main page suggest nav must be bypassed, this would be my main concern losing nav also!
