The worst thing they have done is do away with "Vogue" as a model. No sense of history these youngsters!!

Seriously?
That's a fail right there.

Same - the BRG on the configurator looks much brighter than the one outside.

I had BRG on my 2018 car and is not how you would expect BRG to be (certainly nothing like the configurator), it's quite sparkly when in the sun and not at all like the 1960/70's BRG on MG's, Jags etc

Now I've got Carpathian and I prefer it Thumbs Up All LR cars from 1984

Yes, we have a 2019 BRG car - think I prefer Aintree/Galway/Epsom.

Honestly no one knows what a “vogue” is outside on Britain/England. USA market has no clue what it is. Or a “Westminster” for that matter

Regarding what someone earlier said about integrating that screen into the dash would have been hard. It would have been extremely easy. Just look at the current model with the dual screen. All they would have had to do is remove the bottom edge of the trim piece separating the two screens which would leave room for a huge screen. Simple.

It was pure design laziness on the l460 to tack on a screen like that as an afterthought.

But made it more contemporary with a slight dash redesign.

The whole l460 is a lazy design IMO. bland interior, tacked on iPad, same front end, same front headlights, etc. Oh wow they updated the rear by chopping it off and throwing some COBB LEDs in there for tail lights. Yawn 🥱 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

That’s a good thing and doubtlessly to stop people referring to the flagship model as the “Vogue” when it is just a trim level and not a model name. Well done JLR.

I don’t see the automatic door operation in any of the specs or options (not that I would want it). I assume this is SV only for the time being?

Yes, I couldn't see anything about that either on the current range 5.0.

Talking of spec's, for anyone thinking of ordering the Cabin Pre-Conditioning at £1,275, my brother completed his build at the showroom yesterday and was told by the dealer, "I'm no sure why that's listed as an option, you don't need to add it, as you can still activate it using the app".

Obviously, please double check with your dealer, but from what he's been told, you don't need it and can save yourself the £1,275.

I wasn’t sure about the rear looking at the leaked pictures but the car looks much better on the official pictures.
One thing I find strange is the fact the V8 SV is less powerful than the outgoing SVA Dynamic which makes me think there will be a more powerful V8 coming soon, probably fitted with the N63 engine used in the M powered cars good for nearly 600 HP.
I just bought a new SVR in May so will wait what comes out next, the next gen SVR will probably be quite nice too.
Can’t wait to see it in the flesh on 4th November.
